Repeated UVB Radiations Induced Thyroid Alteration and Oxidative Stress in Male Swiss Albino Mice

Due to the ozone layer depletion an increased global warming observed, which allows UVB radiation penetrate atmosphere and have deadly effects on people. It is thought that short- long-term are exposed daily has biological organisms humans. Concerning effect of radiations, we examine automatic mechanism by a specific amount induces oxidative stress hyperthyroidism. For these examinations 12 adult male albino mice were divided into two groups: control group, group (2hrs/day). Mice radiated for 15 consecutive days. Specimens thyroid gland processed hormonal, biochemical, histological immunofluorescence examinations. A morphometric study statistical analysis findings performed different groups. Compared specimens showed alteration in mean height follicular epithelial cells caspase-3 expression.
